Vimeo Video Hosting
We support Vimeo for your video hosting. Vimeo is the largest and most well know video host with tons of features and very good bandwidth and display options for many device sizes. (YouTube does not host videos in a format that can be displayed on websites).
It does require a Vimeo Standard or Pro account to host videos on websites, which costs $25 per month.
How To Setup
Setup is located under Website V2 Themes:
Choose the Banner type:
From your video’s settings page, click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner. In the dropdown that appears, select Video file links. This will let you toggle on direct file links and copy the MP4 URL for your video. When multiple quality options are available, please select the HD 1080p version.
Then paste the link into the RunSignup Website Banner field. It will be a long URL:
You can also add an image as a backup when we detect low bandwidth or screens that do not play video. Choose a previous image form your image gallery (all the images you have used on websites and email are saved there for reuse!):
In addition, you still have all the options for banners to optimize your homepage for your customers.
