March 2026 Peer-to-Peer Roundup

The March 2026 Peer-to-Peer roundup is here! This month we’re highlighting three organizations using GiveSignup to power events that are as inspiring as the causes behind them—from a milestone-making inaugural 5K supporting 150 years of compassionate healthcare to a challenge raising millions for cutting-edge cancer research and a Pride 5K helping Colorado’s LGBTQ+ community access free, essential services year-round.

Mercy Race for the Future

Mercy Health Services is launching its inaugural Race for the Future — a 5K and 1-mile walk created to fuel the Mercy Forever 150th Anniversary Campaign and the We Are 150 employee engagement initiative. The Mercy Forever campaign celebrates 150 years of compassionate care while investing in the next generation of healing services for its community. It’s a powerful first event, and they’ve set themselves up for success with a strong fundraiser-focused online presence right out of the gate.

How They’re Using GiveSignup:

  • Built a compelling event landing page centered around the fundraiser experience, making it easy for participants to understand their impact from the moment they arrive using Websites V2.
  • Created a dedicated fundraiser resource page packed with tools and tips to help participants hit the ground running and maximize their fundraising.
  • Featured a donation thermometer and countdown clock front and center on their event page, giving visitors an at-a-glance look at fundraising progress and building excitement as event day approaches.
  • Included a top fundraisers leaderboard to celebrate fundraisers and keep participants motivated to climb the ranks.
  • Leveraged GiveSignup’s AI Chatbot to help answer participant questions.

The Badger Challenge

The Badger Challenge is on a mission to direct 100% of all participant-raised dollars to the most promising University of Wisconsin cancer initiatives — both in the laboratory and in the clinic. Since 2016, Badger Challenge has raised over $3.6 million for life-saving cancer research, and their event page reflects the same commitment to impact that drives their fundraisers.

Denver Pride 5K

The Denver Pride 5K is more than just a race—it’s a powerful way for supporters of The Center on Colfax to make a difference in the lives of Colorado’s LGBTQ+ community. This event serves as a crucial fundraiser, enabling The Center to provide free essential services, programs, and activities to LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies year-round. Their event page is a standout example of what’s possible when an organization takes full advantage of the platform’s design capabilities.

How They’re Using GiveSignup:

  • Built a visually stunning event website that takes advantage of nearly every new design option available, including font themes and a FAQ component —creating a polished, immersive experience for visitors.
