the December Peer-to-Peer Roundup wraps up an inspiring year of community-driven fundraising by highlighting organizations that are making meaningful strides through their peer-to-peer events. From longtime race traditions to unique endurance challenges, these campaigns showcase the creativity, passion, and community support that drive successful fundraising year after year.
In this final roundup of the year, we’re spotlighting three standout events that effectively engage participants, clearly communicate their missions, and use their event websites to support fundraising goals. From a beloved New Orleans race tradition to an overnight ski challenge for a great cause, and a community run supporting cancer patients and their families, these events demonstrate how thoughtful storytelling and strong fundraising tools can inspire participation and giving.
Crescent City Classic
Since 1979, the Crescent City Classic 10k has been a New Orleans tradition. The race, which takes place every year on the Saturday before Easter Sunday, is produced locally by the Crescent City Classic Foundation, a not-for-profit 5013c entity. People of all physical abilities participate, including world-class runners, joggers, walkers, wheelchair athletes, kids in strollers, and even those with rolling beer coolers.

Why You Should Keep Donations on GiveSignup (and Stop Linking Externally)
When it comes to raising money through your fundraising event, every donation matters. Many organizations use GiveSignup for registration but send donors to an external site for donations. It seems simple enough — but it’s a missed opportunity.
Wrapping Up 2025
As we wrap up another inspiring year of peer-to-peer fundraising, we’re grateful for the organizations, participants, and supporters who continue to make these events so impactful. Each campaign featured in this roundup highlights how community-driven fundraising events can bring people together and create real change.
We’re excited to see what 2026 brings and look forward to supporting even more peer-to-peer fundraising events as they engage supporters, tell their stories, and raise funds for the causes that matter most. Thank you for being part of another incredible year of fundraising
